As we prepare for the Open House in November, the trains stop running while we fix the O and HO layouts. Though not as exciting as running trains, the layout work is just as important. Another advantage to a club like the Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders is having members who work together, each with his own special talent. We still have fun. This is the first we've gotten together since the latest TCA convention in York, Pennsylvania, so along with fine-tuning the layout, those who went have been filling us on on the big news in the hobby.
