Thomas the Tank Engine

It was thought that Thomas the Tank Engine would be a BIG hit with the kids.  The kids barely noticed.  They loved the large O Gauge trains on the main layout.  So much for Thomas....

"They've got to be kidding with this thing."

The Thomas the Tank Engine O gauge set.

Joe has to repair Thomas.  It was new, out of the box, and already had problems. (It was made by Lionel - no surprises there.)   Jerry watches, ready to lend a hand.  They had already replaced a section of new track.

There was an HO Thomas the Tank Engine at the door, along with hats and whistles for the kids.

It's fixed!  One of the advantages in the club is having members who can repair trains.  (Quality control is an problem with the two largest O gauge manufacturers.)
