Open House, November 3rd, 2001

Action on the O Gauge Layout

The biggest attraction at our Open House events is the O Gauge layout. The large, detailed trains are a hit with young and old. Members bring their best motive power, and here we have but a smattering of all that was run that day.

Looking over the long bridge

The Polar Bear Handcar is immensely popular with children.

A line of Husky Stacks

Yes, that's a Pennsy T1 pulling those Husky stacks. In foreground is Bud's "Video car."

This B&O F7 with its string of passenger cars is the thrill-maker. It is the perhaps the fastest train in the club, and Thor always runs it at high speed. Another favorite with the kids.

Here's the long bridge beside the turntable. Erie Pacific is being turned.
